Terms of Service
Last updated: August 28, 2026. By downloading, accessing or using BuildMate Calc, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. The app
BuildMate Calc provides tools for everyday construction measurements, including feet-and-inches calculations, unit conversion, rounding, Split and Center workflows, and calculation history. It is a calculation aid, not a substitute for approved plans, a measuring instrument, a licensed professional or required safety procedures.
2. Eligibility and your responsibility
You must be old enough to enter into this agreement where you live. You are responsible for the measurements and settings you enter, checking displayed results and deciding whether they are appropriate for your project. Always verify critical dimensions before cutting, ordering materials or performing construction work.
3. License and acceptable use
Subject to these terms and Apple's usage rules, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, copy, resell, interfere with, misuse or use the app in a way that violates applicable law or another person's rights.
4. Feedback and support
Support is optional. If you choose to send feedback, you are responsible for the information and attachments you provide and for ensuring you have the right to send them. To diagnose the issue, the feedback flow may include limited technical details such as device model, iOS version, app version and build number, language or region, and report time. These details are used only for support, bug investigation, reliability and security as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not send passwords, payment details, confidential client information or other sensitive information.
5. Pro purchase
Pro is offered as a one-time purchase currently priced at ¥4.99 in the applicable storefront. The price shown by Apple at checkout controls and may include local taxes or currency conversion. There is no recurring subscription. Apple processes the transaction, and refund requests must be made through Apple's refund process. If you reinstall the app or use another compatible device, use Restore Purchases with the same Apple Account.
6. Intellectual property
The app, design, text, icons, software and related materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership to you. You retain rights in material you voluntarily send to support; you grant us a limited permission to use that material only to provide support and operate the app.
7. Availability and updates
We may update, improve, suspend or discontinue parts of the app. Some functions may require an internet connection for Apple services, while core calculations are intended to remain useful offline. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device or that every result will be error-free.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON AN UNVERIFIED CALCULATION OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY ONLY TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LEGALLY BE LIMITED.
9. Changes and termination
We may revise these terms when the app, our practices or applicable law changes. We will post revised terms here with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use after the revised terms take effect means you accept them. You may stop using the app at any time; Apple's purchase and refund terms continue to apply to completed transactions.
